Our kids started school today. And I must say that I am going to miss sleeping in but will be glad to have some sort of a schedule. And once preschool starts for Will & Barry I am hoping to get some of the 10,000 projects I have piling up done. Alli starts ninth grade this year. This will be a big one for her with cheerleading, yearbook, a full academic schedule including a science class online and seminary. It is going to be a busy year for her. I can still remember starting ninth grade so it's weird to have a child old enough to!
Cole is a big 5th grader now. He is excited to have the teacher he wanted and some of his good friends in his class. He also has a locker this year and I'm hoping he remembers the combination today -- we only got it last night!
Lily was as happy as she could be to head off to second grade. She also has the teacher she wanted and her BFF Tanni is in her class too. I only hope her teacher can handle those two!
So there they are - the kids off for new experiences and lots of learning. I would take a picture of myself -- but I'm just going to sit on the couch and eat bon bon's while watching the Olympics!

first of all I can't believe you have a 9th grader!!! She is so cute and grown-up. All of your kids are getting too big for their britches...I hope they have a fun year!
They are all so cute and lookin' good for that first day at school! I have to say Alli is lookin' smokin' hot this year!!! They look so happy! I'll be over eating bon bon's with you pretty soon. Save some for me will ya? Sylus starts on the 27th.

hooray for school! alli is just getting more beautiful every time i see. can't believe how time flies.
they all look so cute in their first day of school garb. wow! 9th grade huh? and i was freaking out about sarah being in 5th grade! i keep trying that sitting on the couch thing but for some reason gracie wants me to get up and do stuff with her. go figure?
oh hey! sarah has those same shoes as lily, but in pink! target? and we have that skirt too! target again? too funny!!! and i think i remember her cute swimsuit from a previous post and gracie has the same one. the brown one with the rainbow from gap.
I love Target! That is funny that they ended up with so much of the same things I guess our tastes haven't changed much from when we were sharing clothes! (Oh & the skirt is Gymboree from my mom -- she always get the kids stuff from there I love it)
Yeah Udalls...making it back to school and taking photos to boot! I took Gage and Gunar's but it's just way to depressing to post. They were only a little anxious for the first day...however, I have great things to report and they both actually had good things to say about their first day. Thank heavens!
Wow! Big day for everyone! They are getting so big so fast! I hope the first week went off without a hitch!
