Vacation - The Second Leg - Mesa or "Wow it's really hot here"

On Wednesday the 23rd we headed to Mesa for the Udall Family Reunion. We celebrated Grandma Udall's 90th birthday. Cole loved the Saguaro cactus and had me take some pictures of them from the car.

Our first stop was at Ryan & Tennille's house for some swimming and video games. As you can see the boys were no match for their uncle Aki! And of course they has to bust out the Playstation. My kids had such a great time playing with their cousins.

Thursday the 24th was the big party. Here are Ryan (Cord's brother) & Tennille making breakfast for a mere 100+ people!

As you can see it looked more like a ward party there were so many of us.

And here is the birthday girl! Cord's cousin Mindy is in the photo too. She and Lindy did so much to make the reunion a success. We had name tags with cute heart buttons color coordinated according to which family you belong to, gift bags all organized with our family reunion t-shirts (see pic. below) DVD and family directory. They even gave us business cards of grandpas.

Here is the some of the time line that ran the length of the wall with all the important events of their lives. I don't have a picture of it but there also was a list of all of grandma's great grandchildren. There are 103 (so far) my kids are
#12, #28, #48, #68, & #80.

We took a picture with all the great grandkids and grandma.

Here is Cord's family with grandma. I can't wait to see the picture of everyone that was there!

How cute is Grandma Udall?!?! :)

I love the timeline idea and I love the photos of all of the kids, especially Aki in the pool. All of the sudden, all of the little/big kids look very little. :) They must have LOVEd playing with him.
