Labor Day

On Labor Day itself we enjoyed a relaxing day around the house. Then Cord & I decided that the mall was calling to us so we left.

We rarely go to the mall with the "little kids" but we decided to throw caution to the wind and brought them with us. The highlight for the little boys was Panda Express at the food court & gumballs. The highlight for Lily was a new pair of earrings & some eye shadow. The highlight for me was a new skirt & cardigan. And the highlight for Cord was spending money on the girl of his dreams. It was a satisfactory outing.

Later that evening we celebrated (and mourned) the end of summer with a picnic at the park. Kristie called and invited us to hang out with her family and our other pals the Cottles and Pasketts. As always we had a great time visiting with them. The weather was perfect... oh how I don't want the snow to come... sigh.

Alli & Gunar

Karissa

Keith the fashion model

Trevor & his ice cream

These two had a few too many ice creams "but we had to eat them all or they would melt"

Gunar lovin' his frozen treat and here are some of the cutest girls in the whole wide world...

Elizabeth

Mia

Tess

One of the funniest things was watching all those cute girls (and a few cute boys for good measure) chasing Jordan. They chased him up and down the park for a good 20 minutes until he finally collapsed.

We had a great time! Peace out.

That looks like so much fun! I can't believe how much everyone has grown up -- except Keith of course. He looks as young as ever!

The "satisfactory outing" comment cracked me up. Glad you had a good labor day! And thanks for slacking off with me tonight...slacking off is always more fun when done with others. (At least I don't feel as guilty when others are slacking off with me.)
